Let me make this short and sweet.
I can’t stand the hypocrites out there that say they’re tired of winter and then don’t do anything about it. We just had another bunch of snow dumped on us after a week that was turning out to be pretty nice for this time of year. Bam! Another 8 inches of snow, or something like that and right during rush hour. This place was a mess!
So, how come nobody is doing anything about it? Don’t tell me you like the snow – not in March. I can almost get it if you say that in December (holidays and all), but not in March. We’re getting too close to Spring. Yes, I know the whole “in like a lion and out like a lamb” thing, but I think it’s high time we did something about this foolishness.
We’re going to get everyone thinking about Spring and the way we’re going to do it is to start letting everyone know the schedule of fairs and festivals in the Willy Street/Atwood Avenue area. I want all of you to share, tweet, email and like the Spoofing Willy posts about the festivals. We gotta let everyone know.
Then, as everyone is starting to think about Spring, Old Man Winter won’t dare to drop that cold white crap on us anymore until next season. So, come on, everyone has to get in on this, especially all the phonies out there. Redeem yourselves for crying out loud!
